Begini, kalau tidak tahu karakter mandarinnya memang agak sulit.
Tapi mungkin bagi para sesepuh di sini bisa menebak karakter marga Gouw tersebut.
Asal saja kita bisa tahu dari suku/dialek apa Sdr. Christine, misalnya hokkian, tiochiu, khek, konghu dll.
Kalau tahu dialeknya apa, maka bisa ditebak Gouw itu huruf apa, nanti baru dicari sejarahnya.
Tapi kalau sampai suku/dialek yang dipakai juga tidak diketahui, nah ini baru benar2 bingung...... : )
