Pada hari Jumat 14 Juli 2006 kemarin, telah diresmikan
Pagoda Guan Yin di kompleks Vihara Watu Gong Semarang.
Peresmian dilakukan oleh Wakil Gubernur Jawa Tengah
dengan atraksi Liong dan Barongsai.
Pagoda tersebut tercatat sebagai rekor baru di Museum
Rekor Indonesia sebagai pagoda tertinggi di Indonesia.
