Thanks for additional info. It showed that configure was not able to find gpgme.h:
configure:26472: gcc -c -g -O2 conftest.c >&5 conftest.c:283:19: error: gpgme.h: No such file or directory Please make sure it is in your include path (if it is not, supplying CPPFLAGS="-Ipathname" as an argument to configure might help) and reconfigure. On a different note, configure definitely should not have printed "yes" in the configuration summary output. I will see how to fix it.
