[Bug-apl] aplwrap: error with function with blank lines

If you edit a function with blank lines, you get the following error on the
*console* for each blank line that exists:

(aplwrap:30307): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_text_buffer_emit_insert: assertion
'g_utf8_validate (text, len, NULL)' failed
