Regarding the .psf file, I believe it is better to not include it because it is
difficult to keep such files up-to-date, licenses may differ, and font files
 tend to be large.

I am trying to run GNU APL on a Linux console without X.  I found a few issues as follows:

1.  The instructions say:

    loadkeys support-files/apl.loadkeys

it should say:

    sudo loadkeys support-files/old-keyboard/apl.loadkeys

2.  We need to include Unifont-APL8x16.psf

Be careful - it has a .gz extension but it is not gzipped!  Just rename it without the .gz

3.  The file support-files/old-keyboard/apl.loadkeys has a bug.  The Alt-shift-A key (alpha-underscore) is not mapped correctly.
