GNU APL uses the symbols ⍺ (U+237A APL FUNCTIONAL SYMBOL ALPHA) and ⍵ (U+2375 APL FUNCTIONAL SYMBOL OMEGA) for the left and right hand arguments in a lambda function.
I would like to suggest that it also accept α (U+03B1 GREEK SMALL LETTER ALPHA) and ω (U+03C9 GREEK SMALL LETTER OMEGA) as alternatives. This will help when copy&pasting code that has been written with the non-standard symbols. Regards, Elias
