Hi Elias: I'm absolutely sure that your intentions are sincere but “the road to hell is paved with…” However IMHO it is absolutely required that there be a gatekeeper mechanism. “where all of us can create commit requests” is definitely not it - no matter how well intentioned. For GNU APL the gatekeeper should be Jürgen and only him. There may come a time when he relinquishes that role but when that happens he may choose to pass the baton to someone else. At present the burden is not onerous - there are infrequent spasms of activity; but by and large the code is pretty well baked right now. As the saying goes “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it." respect… Peter
