`C-c C-c LaTeX' causes the error message:

LaTeX errors in `*~/test/t1 output*'. Use C-c ` to display.

`C-c `' yield an empty *TeX Help* buffer, an empty `Web2c 7.5.5' buffer
(whatever that is?), and a message in the minibuffer:

   Search failed: "^l\\."

This happens with pdftex-1.30.6 but not with pdftex-1.40.3.
Maybe because the warning messages are slightly different?

This is pdfeTeX, Version 3.141592-1.30.6-2.2 (Web2C 7.5.5)

[1{/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf-var/fonts/map/pdftex/updmap/pdftex.map}]
(./t1.aux) )
! pdfTeX warning (dest): Page 3 has been referenced but does not exist!
