Somewhat on the provocative side I wonder why current and important
distribution TeXLive does not seem to be respresented in AUCTeX. There
is no reason why MikTeX should be the assumed default distribution under
Windows. Could a kind soul post preferred changes to AUCTeX files so
that TeXLive users can adjust AUCTeX to their TeXLive distribution (I
cannot do it myself without explicit quidance, most of such users are
probably in same situation).
On the non-provocative side: thanks a lot to developers for a solid and
imaginative AUCTeX.
