I found the symb-pics, but
here is the setting from my .emacs file:
(setq load-path (cons (expand-file-name "~/emacs/site-lisp/packages/symb-pics")
load-path))
(add-hook 'LaTeX-mode-hook 'LaTeX-install-toolbar)
(require 'tex-bar)
(add-to-list 'TeX-bar-LaTeX-buttons
'latex-symbols-experimental t)
And nothing special happens in the tex file, no special toolbar is seen.
