(I'm going through old bug reports that unfortunately weren't resolved at the time.) Is this issue still present? However, Lisp | programs that process this list should tolerate directories both with | and without trailing slashes. | | This variable may be risky if used as a file-local variable. | Probably introduced at or before Emacs version 1.12. | `---- You're correct about `directory-file-name', but the version with trailing slash is also tolerated.
