tool list from bootstrap.sh automake (1.13.4) : automake autoconf (2.69) : autoconf libtool (2.4.2) : libtool
I kept getting a C compiler failure -- bug couldn't figure out why for some time. I'm running with bash ( /bin/sh -> bash*) 4.3.39(3)-release The interesting thing -- It appended CFLAGS and LDFLAGS as options before calling the compiler. I was using the LDFLAG '-fuse-linker-plugin' which, apparently, is not a gcc command line option, but a linker option (with the compiler I had the -flto option). Is there something I should have done to prevent configure from combining CFLAGS and LDFLAGS? gcc (SUSE Linux) 4.9.0 GNU ld (GNU Binutils; openSUSE 13.2) 2.24.0.20140403-6.1 Linux 4.1.0-Isht-Van #2 SMP PREEMPT Tue x86_64 I also tried re-running the bootstrap.sh thinking maybe it was a tool conflict somewhere and that might correct it... nep. Trying to make squid-3.5.6 from it's tarball So, um... now I'm wondering if this is a gcc bug? *sigh* ideas? thanks.....
