Today at least, Gentoo certainly does not install a "glibtoolize" nor does it install a patched autoreconf that looks for this name. I don't recall such a thing ever being the case but of course I could be misremembering. But a quick search of the historical repository turns up no obvious evidence of such patches. Cheers, Nick
