Turns out there is an obvious correct patch for this bug: all the *other*
AC_PROG_compiler_C_O macros do an AC_LANG_PUSH/POP to the appropriate
language, so AC_PROG_CC_C_O should too. Committed as
e544a323845c1bcc33729927137b09c681073ebd.
