But actually I had it exactly wrong, and you had it right in the first place. The gnu/ must *not* be there in the filename: directive, because the ftp-upload script on the server side puts it in. So it should come back out; my earlier failed upload (which is why I sent the report) must have failed for some other reason. (Depressing that the script no longer bothers to send any error messages. Sigh.) Very sorry, Ralf, but please undo ... Let me try another minor suggestion: perhaps it would be worth including the url http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Automated-FTP-Uploads.html in the --help output. Thanks, Karl
