Hi James, the .info file in the read-only directory should not be older than the .texi file (and other dependencies), thus the rule for .texi.info should never be used during "make distcheck". Something wrong with your timestamps and or filesystem? Regards Peter Breitenlohner <p...@mppmu.mpg.de>
