I get a repeatable crash in bash on arch linux.
These keypresses trigger the crash:
C-r
C-s
Enter
C-c
After the ctrl+c I get the following output (I have created a subshell so I
don't get kicked back to login.) The reverse i-search prompt is overwritten at
this point.
[root@homeserv ~]# bash
free(): invalid pointer
Aborted (core dumped) bash
[root@homeserv ~]#
Guessing either a corrupt pointer or double free.
# bash --version
GNU bash, version 5.3.3(1)-release (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu)
...
[root@homeserv ~]# pacman -S bash
warning: bash-5.3.3-2 is up to date -- reinstalling
I have a gmail addr with tom.coleman - it would be nice to hear if it is a
confirmed bug.
