While linking some big c++ project (Latest LLVM CVS snapshot) using mingw32's binutils (2.16.91 20060119) I've got the folowing message:
f:\research\mingw\bin\ld.exe: BFD 2.16.91 20060119 assertion fail ../../src/bfd/ cofflink.c:1926 It seems, that some other projects GeOs) have just same problems. I've reduced huge set of object files just to 2. The same assertion is triggered with the latest binutils snapshot both on mingw32 and cygwin platforms. -- Summary: Assertion triggered in cofflink.c Product: binutils Version: 2.16 Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: ld AssignedTo: unassigned at sources dot redhat dot com ReportedBy: asl at math dot spbu dot ru CC: bug-binutils at gnu dot org GCC build triplet: i686-pc-mingw32 GCC host triplet: i686-pc-mingw32 GCC target triplet: i686-pc-mingw32 http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2659 ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. _______________________________________________ bug-binutils mailing list bug-binutils@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-binutils
