I'm having some trouble using the linker... I am using V4.1.2 as part of the WinAVR package.
Which version of the linker does this include ? If it is earlier then v2.18 please try downloading the current binutils sources and building a new linker.
If that does not solve the problem, let us know and I will try to investigate further.
