Yes, your elf is OK(as it does not have a PT_PHDR). I have found the way to create your elf on my server(gcc test.c -c; ld test.o pad.ld -o test). Trust me, there were so many such guys.This problem was reported by a expert in kernel(not in tool-chain...), when porting some hugepage tests to mips.
