The thing that concerns me is that this might not be a binutils bug. It might be a bug in gcc's libgcc.c file that is used to create ctors.o. That is why I wanted to have a look at the failing executable, so that I can see if the __CTOR_LIST__ symbol really is in the wrong place. So - please could you upload the compiled test case ?
