MASM-generated COFF objects are copied successfully by objcopy, but at least
.text and .data are zero-padded to the next 16-byte boundary. Imo section
contents and sizes should remain unaltered. Otoh changing the order of symbol
table entries (which can also be observed) is likely okay.
