This patch exists because pretty much everyone says that they want to
know when packages are removed or installed on a system (me too).
This seems to be the only way to see this without using Verbose...
clue me in if there is a way to do this I am overlooking.

Also clue me in if this is too much, not enough, etc.

FYI: I'd love to get rid of the extra blank line.  The only way I can
think of is an explicit check for an empty line and feof(pp) which
would duplicate the while() test.  Anyone got a better idea?
