Sorry, i don't know the bugs source, i just can past my outputs.
I use coreutils-5.0.
I hope that this mail can help you to fix this 'potencial' bug.

I think that there's an error in the manager of /var/run/utmp log file.
In fact, if i do 'echo > /var/run/utmp' and logout from all VT.
When i login again i can display the correct output:
