Be sure not to change the tabs, spaces, or line endings
in the patch if you copy it from the message.
Looks like gmail converted tabs to spaces in the view window. Clicking
on show-original produced a workable patch. <g>
I still have to admit being surprised that, when
$ mkdir a
$ mkdir b
$ strace ./mv -T -f a b
didn't even try to rename("a", "b") before giving error message.
