Um... what exactly happened? On at least coreutils 6.6 and 6.9, it
simply does nothing (albeit successfully). I do get an error with
coreutils 4.5.3 (don't ask me why RH3 has such an ancient version of
coreutils...). But in no case did I successfully change the owner or
group of my test files.
