hi

Starting from coreutils-6.3.tar.bz2 upward, when compiled against glibc-2.5.1,
"rm" requires /proc mounted else this error "cannot remove `...':
Function not implemented" is triggered.
However, when compiled against glibc-2.3.6, the said error is not triggered.
Can someone clarify or offer an explanation why /proc is needed or is
this a problem with glibc? coreutils-5 is not effected. I can't see a
reason for glibc nor "rm" to require /proc mounted.

Thanks.
