   And many current ones.  As for GNU, it isn't a complete system
   anyways...

GNU became complete with Linux, but there are other kernels that work
with GNU, for example the Solaris kernel, or our own the Hurd.  You
can even use the GNU system with a BSD kernel.  Cool no?
