I am using vi editor on ubuntu 9.10. Yet several vi commands do not work. e.g yank (y), put (p) and repeat (.) Could you please suggest what is the reason? Is there a difference between standard unix vi edition and linux vi edition? Thank You Nachshon Yeshurun Ariel university center of Samaria
