Latest 'returns_', i.e., after gnulib commit 7b8fe0cfbde, seem to have improved the 'set -x' behavior. We have that commit already included in the gnulib submodule of coreutils, so it would also be good to test with a distribution tarball from latest git. Have a nice day, Berny
