Hey Steve!
If you can send me (or the Automake list from my previous message) a patch for
the ./depcomp file that makes this compile on your platform and doesn't break
any others it may speed things up with the Automake folks. Sometimes they're
quick though, so it might be worth waiting a day or two to see what they say.
