As far as I know, the timestamp information in CVS/Entries
is for GMT (or UTC or whatever) and not in your local time
zone.

If you experience the problems which you described above,
this may also be caused by differences in the server's and
the client's notion of "current time". Use e.g. ntp to keep
the clocks in sync.

(Also make sure that you do not switch to daylight saving
time by setting the system clock.)
