Hello,

I suspect that I have run into a bug: When I wanted to commit a file without typing any log message, I noticed that

(1) if I do

        hostname % cvs ci -m' ' myfile.m

it will work as expected. However,

(2) if I do

        hostname % cvs ci -m'' myfile.m

it will check the current directory and commit all files!

Here's output of "cvs -ver" and "uname -a":

Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.22 (client/server)

Linux tinman 2.6.18-53.el5 #1 SMP Wed Oct 10 16:34:02 EDT 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Regards,

Lingji
