I'm working on a few things aiming at a 1.12.14 release and I noticed some support for the 12 year old CVS 1.9 server in add.c. Would it be okay to draw a line at, say, the previous minor release (the original 1.11) when deciding whether to keep or cut legacy support code?

Since we're not actively testing new clients against old servers, I would hazard that no matter how hard we've been trying to maintain legacy support that far back, much of it is going to turn out to be broken anyhow.

Thanks,

Derek
