snprintf is the secure version of sprintf, and is heavily used in
ddrescue. So you need to upgrade your C++ standard library.
Where did you obtain version 1.0.1? The last version I have released is 1.0.

Antonio Diaz.

Tried to compile ddrescue 1.0 and 1.0.1 on a Mac 10.2.3 with gcc 3.1 and

there a reasonably quick fix, or should I find a newer computer?
