Hello, A problem that I've been running into more and more frequently is that the damaged drive is huge, far exceeding the capacity of any of my rescue drives. What are my options? Do I just need to continue buying larger and larger drives to hold these mammoth-sized images?
Can ddrescue be run such that it will produce an image only of the data that's been consumed on the drive? As I understand it, ddrescue will produce an image of all readable material on the drive (used and unused). Are there options that I'm overlooking? What's your approach? Thanks, James _______________________________________________ Bug-ddrescue mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-ddrescue
