thank you all for the reply. thanks Andrew, your suggestion worked, somehow: I tried on another computer and it rescue a file of 500 MB, pretty good, but when I run ddrescue a second time it says the error size is still 540 MB. What does it means? why then the file is so big?
Another doubt is: what does it mean "Ddrescue can't read audio or video CDs, only data CDs (CDROMS)."? I thought once the date were copied if I just burn a new cd this would do the trick, wouldn't? I was able to mount the image I rescued, but not to play it, I used vlc but I could have messed something up, I'll try again as soon as possible. thanks again. -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/keep-splitting-forever-tp29008586p29027384.html Sent from the Gnu - ddrescue mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Bug-ddrescue mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-ddrescue
