I'm working on a Dell laptop drive with three partitions: sda1 Dell Diagnostic sda2 Recovery Partition sda3 OS Partition
I started the recovery process on sda3, because I wanted to get at the important data first. ddrescue /dev/sda3 /media/sdb1/os.img /media/sdb1/oslog Now, after having reasonably good results on the OS partition, I would like to add the other two (sda1 and sda2) to the existing image from sda3, to create one complete image, which in hindsight I should have done from the beginning.
