Hello Rikard,

My suggestion is that this should be clarified a bit. Is no-split and no-scrape the same thing?

Both options are equivalent in the sense that both prevent the corresponding phase to be run.

Splitting proved to be slow and produced a lot of head movement, so in 1.19 it was replaced with a linear "scraping" phase. --no-scrape replaced --no-split.

In the ChangeLog you can find these two entries:

        * The splitting phase has been replaced by a scraping phase.
        * Changed long name of option '-n' to '--no-scrape'.

BTW, I have just released 1.20.

Best regards,
Antonio.
