hello antonio, first, i'd like to say a big thank you for your work on ddrescue, lzip and other associated software applications. i have been a long-time windows user (not necessarily a happy one, but i play games :) ) and have just been introduced to the world of linux as a result of a drive failure and ddrescue. the more i learn and find out about linux, the more i like! :) one day, when i've learnt enough, i'd like to be able to contribute back to the community, much like yourself.
anyhow, i was just reading through the manual for ddrescuelog, and noticed what i believe to be a typographical error. in "example 2" of the examples section < https://www.gnu.org/software/ddrescue/manual/ddrescue_manual.html#Ddrescuelog >, it says "fdisk /dev/hdb <-- partition /deb/hdb". i believe the "/deb/hdb" after the word "partition" is a typographical error that should instead read "/dev/sdb". it is minor, and don't think anyone would misunderstand, but thought i would point out nevertheless. thanks once again for your wonderful work! best regards, edwin _______________________________________________ Bug-ddrescue mailing list [email protected] https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-ddrescue
