OK, I have read the manual a bit more in-depth than I did the last time.

I am trying to make the read and rescue speeds as slow as possible. The
device I am trying to rescue data from is a CD-R. My question is, will this
particular code I'm posting give me the speed I am looking for?

ddrescue -d -r-1 -b2048 -c1 --sector-size=2048 --cluster-size=1
--min-read-rate=1 --max-read-rate=1 /dev/cdrom
/home/curtis/Desktop/terminalrescue/040906_1338.img
/home/curtis/Desktop/terminalrescue/040906_1338.log

If any of the settings could be made slower, I would dearly appreciate any
suggestions in the terminal code I have provided.

I am probably dense as cement, but I thank you for a moment of your time.
