You should either upgrade to 1.23 or stop using -R. ddrescue 1.22 has a
bug when run in reverse.
From ddrescue-1.23/NEWS:
"A bug has been fixed that sometimes marked the wrong block as
non-scraped when running in reverse direction. (Bug introduced in 1.22)."
I have tested your mapfile and it is good. It just contains some
finished blocks wrongly marked as non-scraped that ddrescue will need to
read again.
