Sorry for not updating the Bug here, it has been fixed in Fedora Expect in the
meantime:

For some reason it is still in Rawhide ("unstable") Fedora patchset, unaware
if it has been upstreamed in the meantime, Expect is not maintained by me in
Fedora.
