Hi, I'm currently investigating how to fight software regressions with git bisect. I git clone diffutils and type "git checkout v2.9" to switch to the version 2.9 and the compilation is successful. However, when I use "git checkout v2.8" to switch to the version 2.8 it fails to compile. Can anybody tell me how to do it?
