GNU ed is an 8-bit clean, more or less POSIX-compliant implementation of
the standard Unix line editor.

This version is also available in lzip format. If your distro doesn't
yet distribute the lzip program, you can download it from
http://www.nongnu.org/lzip/lzip.html
Changes in this version:
* Some tests have been improved and obsolete posix tests have been
removed from testsuite.
* A small error in the manual has been fixed.
