Re: GNU ed sends non-printable characters to the terminal in error message

GNU ed 1.21.1, running on Termux version 0.118.3:

$ 𝚝𝚘𝚞𝚌𝚑 "$(𝚙𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚏 "𝚏𝚒𝚕𝚎\𝚎[𝙷\𝚎[𝚌\𝚗\𝚋")"
$ 𝚌𝚑𝚖𝚘𝚍 𝟶 𝚏𝚒𝚕𝚎*
$ 𝚎𝚍 𝚏𝚒𝚕𝚎*

Sends the ed command line to the top of the terminal page and overwrites 
anything already there with:

: 𝙲𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚛𝚘𝚕 𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚛𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚜 𝟷-𝟹𝟷 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚘𝚠𝚎𝚍 𝚒𝚗 𝚏𝚒𝚕𝚎 𝚗𝚊𝚖𝚎𝚜
