fileutils-3.16 enhancement request/idea

Hello,

    I noticed that 'mv' on my solaris 2.5.1 (aka 5.5.1) machine
    at work will move entire directories across filesystems.
    This is something I've wanted to do for quite a while.  Do
    you think there's a snowball's chance that it could be added
    to the behavior of 'mv' in GNU's fileutils package?
