I've installed the version 6.1 of the RedHat distribution of Linux and had
problems with video card configuration.
The only resolution that something can be seen is 640x480, but the
installation program detects a video card (Intel 740 generic) that's not my
own (Trident 8400 PCI/AGP), and sets the default value of resolution to
1024x768, but it doesn't work properly. One part of the screen is "covered" by
another part and things like this. With 640x480, the desktop is shorter than
my screen.
Somebody tells me that it's a configuration problem, but I don't know how
to configure it. I've tried all (few) knowledgement I had.
Please, how can I solve this problem?

Some helpfull information (I guess) about my computer:

        mainboard: PC CHIPS M585LMR
        video card: Trident 8400 PCI/AGP
        processor: AMD K6-II 3DNow
        clock: 450MHz
        modem: HSP56 MicroModem
        printer: HP DeskJet 692C

p.s.: It also doesn't detects neither modem and printer and one more time I
could not solve this problem. Can you help me?

Thanks
