I've never submitted a bug before, so here goes:
I'm on a RedHat 7 system, i386. Filesystem is ext2. --version flag reports:
mv (GNU fileutils) 4.0x
Here's the problem:
[root@backup /tmp]# mv /tmp/roman/ /roman
mv: basename.c:67: base_name: Assertion `all_slashes || *(p - 1) != '/''
failed.
Aborted (core dumped)
Although it seems to have moved the roman directory properly (there was only
one file in it, and that was moved also)
