Hello. mkdir src ln -s src srctest chown me srctest chgrp me srctest The chown effects the link (srctest) but the chgrp effects the actual directory (src). This seems inconsistant to me. I have no aliases setup for either, I'm running Debian Woody, fileutils version 4.1-2, with version 4.1 or both chgrp and chown. Surely the default for each should be the same? Cheers.
